Why We Need YOUR Help:
In November 2006, the majority of San Francisco school board members voted to phase out JROTC over a three year period, but also committed to providing a replacement program in lieu of JROTC to the satisfaction of the JROTC students. In November 2007, the board voted to extend the program through June 2009 without changes as the Task Force had not found a replacement program. On June 17, 2008, the Board voted to strip P.E. credits away from JROTC starting September 2008.
